There is coop for all the mods EXCEPT Galactic Conquest. But, thats expected, since the only way you could do multiplayer galactic conquest before was in split-screen and split-screen doesn't work on PC well. They state that the PC version of multiplayer is free with no additional costs: I have it all in writing. But for platforms such as PS4, you need internet access and to log onto the network in order to access the multiplayer. It may have changed to free recently, I'm not too sure, but it used to be something like 50 a year for access.
